Crisp air, falling leaves and vibrantly-coloured produce mean it’s time to celebrate fall’s bounty with warm, hearty meals. From picnics to relaxed family dinners, our menus make seasonal fall produce the star.

Fall Al Fresco

Take advantage of still-warm afternoons and escape outside to enjoy a fall picnic or patio lunch. Spread out a big blanket and let the feasting begin.

Creamy Kale, Romaine & Apple Salad with Spiced Nuts

Hearty kale, delicate romaine hearts, crisp red apple and crunchy celery play well together to make a beautiful side or starter salad. The yogourt dressing and spiced nuts can be made a day in advance and stored in separate airtight containers. When it’s time to serve the salad, toss with dressing and nuts.

Prosciutto, Pear & Brie Pizza

A pre-made crust means this main comes together in 10 minutes flat. Quickly broil or grill the crust until golden then spread fragrant Italian herb paste over while still warm. Top with prosciutto, brie, thinly sliced pear and tender baby arugula.

Chocolate Pumpkin Loaf

Studded with chocolate chips and warm seasonal spices, this dessert loaf comes together in a few easy steps. Pumpkin purée keeps the loaf moist, while the addition of pumpkin pie spice lends familiar warmth. Once the loaf has cooled, slice and wrap individual portions for easy picnic serving. For an extra-rich treat, serve with butter.

Harvest Work Lunch

A hearty and appetizing dinner one night leads to a highly anticipated lunch the following day. Don’t forget to pack a sweet treat to round out the meal.

Sausages with Potato, Kale & Apple

Savoury, sweet and a little bit spicy — this main really delivers. Mild or hot Italian sausages pair beautifully with thinly sliced potatoes and apples. Apple cider vinegar adds brightness to the dish, while fresh thyme and sage add an aromatic element.

Pecan & Pear Muffins

When midday hunger strikes, this snack does the trick and won’t spoil your appetite for dinner. Chopped pecans and pears are folded into the muffin batter and baked. Mix up the nuts or fruit for a new take — walnuts and apples make tasty substitutions.

Weekend Family Dinner

Time to slow down and prepare a comforting weekend meal: Set the table, turn off the TV and enjoy the company.

Creamy Cauliflower & Chicken Orzo

Ready in 30 minutes, this wholesome pasta main is cooked risotto-style on the stovetop. Use a pre-roasted Rotisserie Chicken, or substitute it with the remaining chicken from last night’s dinner. Leftovers can be portioned into containers for easy lunch solutions during the week.

Beet Chips

Roasting beets caramelizes their natural sugar, transforming them into a sweetly pleasing side or snack. Simply peel beets and slice thinly using a mandolin or sharp knife. Place beet slices on a cookie sheet, brush with olive oil and sprinkle with salt. Bake and enjoy!

Beer Batter Apple Fritters

With homemade apple fritters on the menu, we bet the entire family will make it on time for dinner. Make sure to use crisp apples that will stand up nicely to the heat. Make this dessert extra special by serving it warm with vanilla ice cream and a dusting of powdered sugar.
